Al-Mawaddah issues its third performance report: 73 thousand services for 37 thousand families since the beginning of this year

Since the beginning of this year, Al-Mawaddah Association for Family Development has provided more than 73,000 services to more than 37,000 beneficiaries, male and female, through its development initiatives, the Life Academy for Women’s Empowerment, the Al-Mawaddah Center for Reform and Family Guidance, the Center for Protection from Domestic Violence, the Family Platform to enhance family life quality skills, and a competency program to train specialists. And the Shamal Center for implementing the provisions of vision and visitation.

The General Manager of Almawaddah, Mr. Muhammad Al Radhi, explained that the Association provided guidance and dispute resolution services to 9,779 beneficiaries, male and female, and the average reconciliation rate reached 59%. The Life Academy for Women’s Empowerment also empowered 936 women economically to help them support their families, and the empowerment rate reached 21%. Through the family platform to enhance family life quality skills, 10,176 trainees were trained, their skills were increased by 72%. Through the Shamal Center for implementing the provisions of vision and visitation, 1,766 separated families were reunited with their children, and the center was able to convert 11% of the cases to a consensual visit through home. The number of women and children who were protected through the Protection Center reached 13,699, and the average rate of closing reports received by the Center was 97%. Average stakeholder satisfaction reached 90%. The access and views of the media materials and awareness campaigns published by the Edrak Center for Awareness Media Production reached more than 20 million views.

Al Radhi added that 610 children suffering from developmental and behavioral disorders were treated through Qarat Ayn Clinic, and 59% of the children passed the treatment programs. The association was able to train 596 specialists, and their skills were developed through the Kafaa Center for Professional Development for Specialized Practitioners. Since the beginning of the year, the association has obtained 4 new competitions for development projects, its completion rate reached 86%.

In terms of sustainability, Al Radhi added that the average percentage of the association’s operational performance until the third quarter of 2023 reached 92%, and the association’s governance evaluation rate reached 99.66%. The rate of handling complaints reached 96%. The association was also able to reduce the percentage of general and administrative expenses to 8%. And the association was honored to win first place in the King Khalid Award in the category of non-profit organizations.

Al Radhi concluded that Al-Mawaddah educates, trains, guides, reforms and raises family awareness through sustainable development initiatives that enhance family stability by contributing to building a generation of aware and cohesive families capable of facing challenges. Al-Mawaddah also works to be the first reference for family issues and to contribute to presenting the best strategic solutions in achieving the goals of the National Transformation Program related to the family and qualifying the best qualified specialists.
