The Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association in the Makkah region enabled 4,773 divorced, widowed, and Social Security beneficiaries in vocational and professional fields during the year 2020 through the Life Academy for Women's Empowerment.

The General Manager of the association, Mohammed Al-Reda, highlighted the Life Academy as one of the association's initiatives dedicated to women's empowerment, aimed at transitioning them from dependency to productivity through vocational and professional empowerment. He noted that in 2020, the academy empowered 4,773 women, including 200 Social Security beneficiaries, with a total of 88 training courses averaging 1,369 training hours.

It is worth noting that the Life Academy for Women's Empowerment was established in 2018, aiming to address issues affecting women in society, particularly in the economic aspect, such as their inability to market their products and the scarcity of business incubators for families interested in production.
