Prince Saud bin Juluwi launches the campaign "Use it, don't get addicted to it"
HRH Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Juluwi launched today at the headquarters of the Jeddah Governorate the campaign "Use it, don't get addicted to it" organized by the Mawaddah Society for Family Development in the Makkah region. The campaign aims to raise public awareness about the risks of technology addiction and ways to treat it. The event was attended by His Excellency the Secretary of the Governorate, Mr. Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki, and the Director of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development branch in the region, Fahd bin Rashid bin Raqoush. Also present from the association were Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Zuhair Marhumi, Board Member Dr. Abdullah Matbouli, and its General Manager, Mohammed Al-Redai.
HRH praised the efforts of the association, wishing them success in achieving their desired goals.
Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mawaddah Society, Zuhair Marhumi, emphasized that the association, in line with its social role, was keen to launch the campaign targeting all segments of society, starting with parents, youth, children, and specialists. Its objectives and activities focus on raising family awareness about the effects of technological addiction, providing counseling and awareness programs on ways to treat technological addiction, and discussing its effects and treatment methods with specialists.
In turn, the director of the Mawaddah Society, Mohammed bin Ali Al-Redai, commended HRH Prince Saud bin Juluwi for launching the "Use it, don't get addicted to it" initiative. HRH then honored the supporting entities of the campaign, including the Jeddah Municipality, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development branch, Bassmah Trading Group, Al-Muhaidib for Community Service, the Endowments of Sheikh Mohammed Al-Rajhi, Saudi Airlines, Abdul Latif Jameel Company for Road Advertising, Star Neon Company, Visual Media Arts Company, Al Madinah Newspaper, and Alif FM Radio, followed by a commemorative photo.
