Mr. Al-Redai, the General Manager of the Association, explained that this partnership is part of Al-Mawaddah's efforts to empower women and contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. It also aligns with one of the strategic objectives of the Association, which is empowering women to economically and socially care for their families.
He further elaborated that the project targets widows, divorcees, and women with disabilities, aiming to train and qualify 123 women in mobile phone maintenance. Additionally, 10 women will be empowered to provide maintenance services for temporary mobile phones allocated to them under the memorandum. This initiative aims to provide sales outlets and job opportunities for social security beneficiaries without fees. The program aims to build capacity, hone skills, and provide opportunities to motivate them to work continuously and sell after being trained and qualified in mobile phone maintenance and outlet management. They will also supervise project operations, develop their skills, and provide job opportunities through Al-Hayah Women's Empowerment Academy, affiliated with Al-Mawaddah Association. The women will be trained in project management, financial management, and service marketing. Moreover, they will receive consultations from financial experts through a partnership with business clinics. Additionally, 23 women will have the opportunity to benefit from soft loans to establish their own projects through the micro-enterprise financing partnership signed with the Social Development Bank.
