Al-Mawaddah serves more than 34 thousand families during the first half of 2024

 

The Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association made a significant impact in the first half of 2024, reaching over 34,000 beneficiaries through more than 61,000 services across its various developmental initiatives. The achievement rate for the first half of the year was 126% of the target.

Chairman of the Board, Engineer Faisal Saifuddin Al-Samnoudi, explained that the association aimed to create a deeper impact in the lives of more than 34,000 families through its diverse programs in the first half of 2024. He noted that 523 women were economically and professionally empowered through the Makruma Center, achieving an economic empowerment rate of 59%. Additionally, the quality of family life was enhanced for 10,419 beneficiaries through courses offered via the Family Platform, with an 81% increase in family skills.

Al-Samnoudi added that 9,224 beneficiaries received family counseling and conflict resolution services, achieving a reconciliation rate of 65% among disputing families. Moreover, 466 children were treated for developmental and behavioral disorders at the Innovative Child Center. Al-Mawaddah also provided protection services to 11,973 children and women, with an average case closure rate of 95%. Furthermore, 1,274 separated families were reunited through the Shaml Center for implementing visitation and custody rulings.

The association published 654 awareness materials on social media platforms, participated in 16 international days, and launched three awareness campaigns: the Conscious Motherhood Campaign, the Ramadan Values Campaign, and the Balance Your Life Campaign. The media materials and awareness campaigns garnered over 13 million views. On the institutional performance front, Al-Radhi indicated that the association's average operational performance rate was 88%, with a stakeholder satisfaction rate of 90%.

He continued, noting that the response rate through the Guest Care Center was 86%, and the complaint resolution rate was 98%. Al-Mawaddah shared its experience through five forums and workshops, executed five government projects and competitions, and signed seven partnerships and memorandums of understanding with various entities. Financially, the association spent 91.10% of its budget on charitable and developmental programs and projects in the first half of the year. The return on financial and real estate investments to total revenue was 11.44%, and the social investment return to total revenue was 1.94%.

Al-Samnoudi concluded by affirming Al-Mawaddah's commitment to improving the quality of family life through inspiring and innovative programs based on professional, specialized studies and practices aimed at increasing awareness of the principles of building a healthy family.
