After the success of the first season, Al Mawaddah Association for Family Development launched the second season of the "Values Instillation Challenge" program, which is concerned with making short value films, via the family platform. The program targets university students to promote family values and highlight the spirit of challenge among male and female students. The program includes multiple stages that begin with registering for the competition, then attending a free training course on instilling family values, followed by a specialized training course in short filmmaking for three days, under the supervision of a professional director. The students will form teams of five to make a short value film, to be presented to the jury. Then, six winning teams will be honored at the closing ceremony, with the results announced on the platform's website and social media platforms.
The Director General of the Association, Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Radhi, explained that the program is distinguished by offering cash prizes to the winners, as the team that wins first place will receive 25,000 riyals, second place will receive 20,000 riyals, third place will receive 17,000 riyals, fourth place will receive 15,000 riyals, fifth place will receive 13,000 riyals, and finally sixth place will receive 10,000 riyals. The videos will be displayed on several platforms, in addition to granting 40 volunteer hours to each participating student. Seven Saudi universities are participating in the program, including King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah University, Dar Al-Hekma University, Jeddah International College, Effat University, University of Business and Technology, and Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz University.
Al-Radhi stated that "the association seeks through this program to enhance the role of youth in the family and society, to reach a generation aware of its role and responsibilities towards its family and society." The association provides guidance and awareness support and free training courses, in addition to field training for university students. The association also issued four scientific publications to support the needs of youth, benefiting 3939 young men and women in marriage preparation programs and criteria for choosing a life partner, and 648 beneficiaries from value enhancement programs. Al-Radhi concluded that this initiative comes within the framework of the efforts of the "Al-Mawaddah Association" to enhance the role of non-profit sectors in the Kingdom, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to improve the quality of life for all members of society, and empower youth more to encourage them to participate in social life and empower them in it.
