Under the patronage of the Governor of Jeddah, the second season of the Values ​​Instillation Challenge Award concluded with the participation of 1,391 male and female students from 7 Saudi universities

His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, in partnership with the Abu-Ghazaleh Foundation for Community Development and the Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation, crowned the activities of the second season of the Values ​​Instillation Challenge Award for the production of short value films in a ceremony that celebrated the efforts of the participants and partners of success. The award aims to promote family values ​​among university students, by enabling them to understand and apply the concepts of positive values ​​in their daily lives, and enhancing their ability to creatively express these values ​​through short films. The award also aims to build a generation of youth aware of family values, and improve communication between generations, especially between youth and their parents and families, in order to achieve a sustainable impact on parental and community relations.

This season witnessed the participation of 1,391 male and female students from 7 Saudi universities: King Abdulaziz University, Umm Al-Qura University, Jeddah University, Taif University, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, King Saud University, and Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz University. The participants embarked on a unique journey that included training on family values ​​and filmmaking, resulting in the production of 76 valuable films that were evaluated by a specialized jury.

The winners of the award were announced, with the first place going to the “Radheet” film team from King Abdulaziz University, while the second place went to the “One Hand” film team from Prince Muqrin University, and the third place went to the “Make a Smile” film team from King Abdulaziz University. The fourth place went to the “Make Your Dreams” film team from Dar Al-Hekma University, while the fifth place went to the “Salam” film team from Jeddah University, and the sixth place went to the “Apple” film team from King Abdulaziz University.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Mawadda Association, Eng. Faisal bin Saif Al-Din Al-Samnoudi, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi for his generous sponsorship of the award, as well as to the Abu-Ghazaleh Foundation for Community Development and the Suleiman Al-Rajhi Charitable Foundation for their generous support that contributed to the success of the project. He also praised the role of participating universities as active partners in promoting values ​​and providing inspiring and influential content.

Al-Samanudi explained that the award seeks to achieve a sustainable impact represented in improving parental relationships, enhancing the concepts of respect and understanding within families, and presenting the media as an effective means of spreading positive values. He added that the award aims to inspire male and female students to explore their roles as active contributors to building a society based on family cohesion and noble values.

Al-Samanudi also announced the launch of the third season of the award next year within the Youth Film Values ​​Festival, which is intended to be in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Film Commission, to be a national project that seeks to promote values ​​across the Kingdom. The ceremony concluded by emphasizing the importance of continuing these initiatives that make family values ​​a main focus of cinematic creativity, and work to support youth in building a more aware and committed society to values.
