Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association, in partnership with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Endowments, reviewed the results of its ongoing partnership since 2017, which contributed to achieving tangible social stability for families in various regions of the Kingdom.
The partnership provided its services to 134,865 families, with a success rate in reconciliation cases reaching 57% through the adoption of 76,000 reconciliation documents.
In 2024 alone, 20,304 families benefited from 25,442 counseling sessions, with an average reconciliation rate of 63%.
The services were distinguished by their diversity to include psychological and social counseling, conflict resolution, and women’s professional and material empowerment, which contributes to enhancing the quality of family life.
Professor Mohammed bin Ali Al-Radhi, CEO of Al-Mawaddah Association, expressed his pride in this partnership, saying: “Thanks to God and then thanks to the great support of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Endowments, we succeeded in presenting a pioneering model for resolving family disputes and achieving stability. We will continue our commitment to improving the quality of services provided to enhance the role of the family in society.”
For his part, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Anzi, CEO of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Endowments, stressed the importance of this partnership, explaining: “We believe that family stability is the cornerstone of building a strong and cohesive society. We pledge to continue our support for these initiatives that contribute to achieving sustainable development for society.”
The partnership services were distributed across the Kingdom’s regions, with Makkah Al-Mukarramah region accounting for the largest share at 72% of beneficiaries, followed by Riyadh at 14%. The services aimed to improve psychological, social and legal aspects, in addition to enhancing family harmony and reducing conflict rates.
