Al Mawaddah Academy launches a training program to enhance the efficiency of social researchers and family practitioners

As part of its ongoing efforts to develop and qualify specialized cadres in the social and family field, Al Mawaddah Academy for the Qualification and Development of Practitioners, one of the initiatives of Al Mawaddah Society for Family Development, launched the Social Researcher Qualification Program, which is a comprehensive training program that aims to empower social researchers and family practitioners with professional skills and scientific knowledge according to the standards and competencies approved by Al Mawaddah, which contributes to raising the quality of services provided to families and enhancing professional performance in the non-profit sector.

Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Radhi, CEO of Al Mawaddah Society, explained that the program focuses on developing social research skills through several main axes, including introducing the basics of social research, developing field skills, and case study methodology, in addition to practical training on analyzing family problems and developing appropriate solutions according to the best scientific and professional practices.

Al Radhi pointed out that the program has witnessed a great turnout from specialists and those interested in the field, as the number of registered trainees so far has reached 149 trainees, which reflects the increasing need to develop the professional capabilities of workers in this vital sector. He also explained that the academy is not limited to this program only, but rather works to provide specialized training programs targeting family practitioners, including qualifying them in the fields of marital relations, family planning, family dispute resolution, and family separation, through accredited professional certificates aimed at preparing qualified cadres to provide more professional and influential family and social services.

As part of its strategic plan, Al Mawaddah Academy seeks to train 1,000 trainees in 2025, granting them specialized professional certificates, including the Professional Certificate for Marital Relations Specialist, which enhances skills in dealing with marital challenges and improving the quality of family relations, the Professional Certificate in Family Planning, which aims to enable specialists to develop strategic plans for the family and achieve family balance, the Professional Certificate for Family Dispute Resolution Specialist, which provides the necessary tools to resolve family disputes in scientific and professional ways, and the Professional Certificate for Family Separation Specialist, which focuses on reducing the negative effects of separation and providing support to the family in such circumstances.
The Academy's goals for 2025 include achieving full international accreditation for professional certificates by 100%, raising trainee satisfaction to 95%, and achieving a tangible change in trainees' skills by 85% to contribute to improving the quality of family life, which reflects the Academy's commitment to providing training programs with a real impact in the social and family work environment.

Al-Radhi stressed that this program represents a qualitative leap in qualifying social researchers and family practitioners, and raising the level of professional performance in the non-profit sector, noting that the Academy is working to develop an integrated model in specialized vocational training, which contributes to enhancing the quality of services provided to the Saudi family, and transferring the experience to the regional and international levels.

He concluded his speech by emphasizing that investing in specialized vocational qualification is the key to achieving positive transformation in family services, noting that the Academy will continue its efforts to empower and qualify workers in this field to ensure the sustainability of the positive impact on society.
