Jeddah, April 17, 2025 –
In the presence of Ms. Nadine Rasim, Executive Director of the Sami Al-Juffali Foundation, the Al-Mawaddah Society for Family Development inaugurated the "Sheikh Sami Al-Juffali Sensory Integration Unit" at the Innovative Child Center. This initiative is part of the society's efforts to support children with sensory integration disorders and empower their families.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Hatem Al-Ghamdi, Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Sami Al-Juffali Foundation, along with a number of specialists and those interested in family and development affairs. The ceremony included an introductory tour of the center, which included a presentation of the sensorimotor and visual-cognitive integration rooms, as well as a short film highlighting the services of the new unit.
The unit aims to provide specialized diagnostic, rehabilitation, and training services to 100 children, in addition to empowering and raising awareness among 100 mothers about the importance of developing sensory skills in children. This will total more than 3,600 sessions and more than 300 clinical scales to measure children's skills.
In a statement on this occasion, the CEO of Al Mawaddah Association, Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Radhi, emphasized that the launch of the Sami Al Juffali Sensory Integration Unit represents a strategic step to enhance the association's support for children with sensory disorders and empower their families to deal positively with challenges. He added, "We thank the Sami Al Juffali Charitable Foundation for this inspiring partnership, which reflects a shared commitment to empowering Saudi families and developing children in a safe and stimulating environment."
It is worth noting that the Innovative Child Center at Al Mawaddah Association is one of the pioneering initiatives in developing children's skills and supporting family stability. It continues to expand with innovative services that meet the needs of diverse groups of children and their families.
