Riyadh – May 2025
Under the generous patronage of Mr. Majed Abu Nahiya, Executive Vice President of the Nonprofit Sector, Al Mawaddah Family Development Association launched its new initiative, SIF – Social Impact Framework, as part of its participation in the International Nonprofit Exhibition (IENA) held in Riyadh, in the presence of representatives from various development agencies and nonprofit institutions.
The initiative aims to empower emerging non-profit entities by building their institutional capacities and accelerating their operational and financial readiness, based on a practical framework based on the Al Mawaddah Association's experience in institutional, social, and financial performance.
The initiative is based on two main tracks: the first is building, which includes providing knowledge-based training through workshops that contribute to the transfer of knowledge and expertise. The second is empowerment, which relies on practical, applied training, including the provision of models and measurement tools that help entities immediately implement effective institutional practices.
The initiative aims to empower non-profit entities institutionally, socially, and financially, accelerate their readiness to become effective and sustainable organizations, and contribute to maximizing their societal impact, in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which supports the non-profit sector as a key contributor to national development.
Professor Mohammed bin Ali Al Radhi, CEO of Al Mawaddah Association, emphasized that the initiative represents the culmination of the association's experience in building a successful and applicable development model, noting that the current phase requires practical solutions based on knowledge and experience to help emerging entities launch strongly and achieve impact.
The launch of the initiative witnessed significant interaction from the exhibition participants, who praised it and considered it a great success. A qualitative step towards supporting the non-profit work environment and enhancing its sustainability.
