In the presence of the Assistant Minister of Education, the Ministry of Education and Al-Mawaddah Association sign a Memorandum of Understanding to Promote Family Values at All Educational Levels
The Ministry of Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Al-Mawaddah Association for Family Development as part of its participation in the Non-Profit Sector Forum in Education and Training. The agreement aims to instill family and life values and skills among students at all educational levels.
The Association's CEO, Mohammed bin Ali Al-Radhi, explained that the agreement seeks to build an integrated system to promote family culture and encourage students to produce short awareness films using innovative tools.
The agreement includes a number of initiatives, most notably the "Values Instillation Challenge" program, which targets university students to produce short awareness films on family values, such as honoring parents, maintaining family ties, and the etiquette of dialogue. The program includes intensive training and a national competition broadcast on YouTube, with the six best films being honored. In its third season, the program targets more than 1,000 male and female students from 10 universities, divided into 200 teams. They will produce 200 short films, with volunteer efforts exceeding 50,000 hours across 13 administrative regions, aiming to reach 10 million views. The agreement also includes other unique initiatives, such as the "Value Pioneers" camp for school students, and the "Foundations of Family Life 101" program, which educates university and high school students on the fundamental principles of building a stable and balanced family. The program targets 1,500 male and female students. The program also aims to qualify student counselors as family counselors, enabling educational staff to support and guide students toward a balanced family life.
Al-Radhi concluded by emphasizing the association's commitment to developing youth awareness, noting that the association's programs have benefited more than 7,150 young men and women over eight years, as part of supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to build a prosperous and stable society.
