The Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association in the Makkah region revealed that it provided 180,678 development and family services during the first half of 2025, benefiting 88,850 beneficiaries. These services are part of its diverse community programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing the stability of Saudi families and improving their quality of life. Engineer Faisal bin Saif Al-Din Al-Samnoudi, Chairman of the Association's Board of Directors, emphasized that Al-Mawaddah continues its pioneering role in providing integrated development solutions for families. Beneficiaries of the Family Training Platform accounted for 8.17% of the total beneficiaries, while 13.02% received counseling and social and psychological support services, and 26.47% benefited from family protection services. The percentage of women benefiting from the Makrama Center for Women's Economic Empowerment reached 1.25%, while children benefiting from the Innovative Child Center accounted for 0.84%, and 0.53% of the total beneficiaries benefited from specialist training programs. During this period, the association achieved a set of qualitative indicators that reflect its tangible impact. The family reconciliation rate reached 60%, while the treatment rate for violence cases reached 94.5%. Family skills programs recorded a 73% improvement. The economic empowerment rate for women reached 27%, while 54% of children successfully completed treatment programs. Regarding digital awareness, views of awareness materials and media campaigns exceeded 17,589,823.
At the institutional performance level, the association achieved 113% of its operational targets for the first half of the year, with an operational performance rate of 89%. Stakeholder satisfaction reached 92%, and the Beneficiary Care Center recorded a response rate of 95%. 44,167 beneficiaries also benefited from government projects and competitions in which the association participated. The association participated in seven scientific events, conducted seven knowledge exchange and transfer visits, signed 20 memoranda of understanding and strategic partnerships, and conducted 12 development courses for its staff.
In terms of financial performance, the effective approach to maximizing development impact was reflected by allocating 92% of expenditures to programs and activities.
Concluding his statement, Engineer Al-Samnoudi explained that these positive indicators reflect Al-Mawaddah's commitment to the Kingdom's Vision 2030, specifically in the area of ​​quality of life and empowering the non-profit sector. He emphasized that the association continues to develop its services and strengthen its partnerships and initiatives to ensure stable families and a more aware and cohesive society.
