The Al Mawaddah Family Development Association held its fifth Board of Directors meeting in its fourth session. The Board addressed several strategic themes that reflect the Association's direction toward enhancing its national and regional impact and expanding the scope of its development services for families in various fields.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, His Excellency Engineer Faisal bin Saif Al-Din Al-Samnoudi, began the meeting with a speech in which he emphasized the Association's commitment to continuing to implement its strategies in line with Saudi Vision 2030. This is achieved by adopting innovative solutions and developing the institutional work system to ensure sustainable impact and achieve a broader social impact.
The Board reviewed the social, institutional, and financial performance report for the first half of the year, which revealed advanced achievement rates in most programs and initiatives. The Board also discussed developments in developing the strategic direction and the growth of investment assets, in addition to a report on the operation of family protection services in the Riyadh and Qassim regions, which reflects the qualitative expansion in the provision of family protection services.
The Board also reviewed the report on the Association's work in Yemen in partnership with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, and approved the establishment of a digital transformation committee to contribute to improving the efficiency of services provided to families. The Board approved the appointment of Dr. Faisal Al-Muhammadi to the Internal Audit and Review Committee and reviewed a study to establish an office for the Association in Riyadh to enhance its national scope.
The meeting also included a presentation of the Family Values ​​Projects System, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. A proposal to provide educational scholarships to students of the Honored Academy, in cooperation with the Swiss Academy, was also discussed.
This meeting affirms the Al-Mawadda Association's commitment to its responsibility to develop its services and programs to enhance family stability and quality of life. It also embodies its pioneering national role in empowering families and society in accordance with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
It is worth noting that the meeting honored the outstanding performers for the second quarter in recognition of their contributions to enhancing the Association's institutional and social impact. Mr. Abdulrahman Zain was honored as Outstanding Initiative Manager, Mrs. Ashwaq Al-Qurashi as Outstanding Branch Manager, Mrs. Adwa Al-Jahni as Outstanding Administrative Specialist, Mrs. Suha Al-Ahmadi as Outstanding Social Specialist, and Mrs. Ashwaq Al-Nahdi as Outstanding Family Counselor. This recognition reflects Al Mawaddah Association's culture of promoting institutional excellence and celebrating talent, as they are the primary drivers of sustainable impact and achieving its mission of building a prosperous and cohesive family that aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
