Al Mawaddah Association for Family Development won second place in the Financial Sustainability Award, the largest global financial award for endowments and the non-profit sector. Launched by the General Authority for Endowments in partnership with the Associations Support Fund, the award extends over five years and has a total value of 250 million endowment investment units.
Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Radhi, CEO of Al Mawaddah Association, explained that this achievement is the culmination of the association's efforts to achieve its strategic objectives related to enhancing the sustainability of financial resources, developing social investment revenues, and increasing the volume of investment assets. These objectives represent a key component of the association's strategic plan aimed at building a sustainable financial model that ensures the continuity of giving and maximizes the social impact of its development initiatives.
Al Radhi emphasized that the association has adopted an institutional approach to managing its financial resources based on diversifying sources of income and activating social investment, in addition to enhancing governance, transparency, and operational efficiency. This has contributed to increasing spending efficiency and ensuring the sustainability of the development programs and services provided by Al Mawaddah to families and society. He concluded his remarks by emphasizing that this win reflects the Al Mawaddah Association's commitment to its responsibility to achieve financial and institutional sustainability within the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, and embodies its leadership in developing a national model to be emulated for empowering families and enhancing their quality of life.
