The Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association launched the Innovation Lab for Family Development, a significant step aimed at developing innovative developmental solutions that address family issues and support family stability and quality of life, in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to build a vibrant society and prosperous families.
The launch of the lab comes as part of the association's commitment to promoting innovation in family development work by engaging specialists, experts, and those interested in family affairs to design practical and applicable ideas that address contemporary family challenges. The lab focuses on six main tracks: preventing family disintegration and protecting bonds; positive parenting and child protection; mental health and family well-being; economic prosperity and family resource management; balance and adaptation to modern life (digitalization/generational development/care); and declining birth rates and family planning.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Mawaddah Association, Engineer Faisal bin Saif Al-Din Al-Samnoudi, explained that the Innovation Lab is a developmental tool that enhances the association's ability to anticipate the future of the Saudi family and transform challenges into measurable development opportunities. He pointed out that the association is working through this lab to build a collaborative model that includes experts and practitioners in the fields of family, childhood, and social development, to design solutions that contribute to raising the quality of life and strengthening family bonds.
Al-Samnoudi emphasized that this step comes as an extension of Al-Mawaddah's journey in developing high-quality initiatives that respond to the evolving needs of the family and reflect the association's pioneering role in innovation and integration with governmental and non-profit sectors, contributing to strengthening social stability and achieving sustainable development for the family and society.
