Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association held its seventh Board of Directors meeting for the fourth term, attended by the following board members: Eng. Faisal bin Saif Al-Din Al-Samanoudi, Mr. Zuhair Al-Marhoumi, Mr. Khaled Qamah, Eng. Hisham Al-Khariji, Eng. Yasser Bakr, Mr. Fahd Mo’minah, and Mr. Ahmed Basoudan. During the meeting, the Board discussed a package of strategic files reflecting Al-Mawaddah’s direction toward maximizing its national and regional impact and enhancing its institutional efficiency in serving and empowering families in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The meeting opened with a speech by the Chairman of the Board, Eng. Faisal bin Saif Al-Din Al-Samanoudi, in which he emphasized the Association’s continued efforts to develop its institutional work system, raise the quality of services provided to families, and enhance innovation in awareness, support, and empowerment programs—ensuring wider reach and deeper social impact aligned with Al-Mawaddah’s renewed vision and mission.

The Board reviewed the follow-up on the implementation of previous recommendations and discussed a summary of social, institutional, and financial performance up to the third quarter of 2025, which showed progress in impact indicators, growth in the number of beneficiaries, and improved efficiency in operational performance of portfolios and initiatives. The Board also reviewed the current status analysis of digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

In addition, the Board discussed an analysis of the key family stability issues reported during the year and data-driven intervention priorities, along with a focus on growing the assets of the Al-Mawaddah Endowment Fund as a strategic path to support the Association’s financial sustainability. The main features of the 2026 plan were also reviewed, including national initiatives and innovative projects that enhance institutional impact.

The Board further approved the addition of new members to the General Assembly and reviewed new business submitted by Board members, within an approach that reinforces governance and strengthens stakeholder engagement.

This meeting reflects Al-Mawaddah Association’s commitment to its national role in developing family systems and programs, and implementing innovative, data-driven development initiatives that enhance family quality of life and stability, in alignment with the Kingdom’s direction toward building a vibrant and prosperous society.
