The Board of Directors of Al-Mawaddah Association for Family Development approved and launched the “One Million Families Plan 2026” as an executive step within the Association’s strategic roadmap through 2030. The plan aims to reach one million new families, enhance quality of life and family stability, and align with the Association’s vision and mission of building a prosperous, cohesive family with sustainable impact.

The plan was approved in the presence of the Chairman of the Board, Eng. Faisal bin Saif Al-Din Al-Samannoudi, and Board Members Mr. Khaled Qamah, Eng. Yasser Bakr, Mr. Ahmed Basoudan, Eng. Fahd Moumenah, and Mr. Khaled Al-Hamdan, alongside the Association’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Radhi. The Board endorsed the plan’s targets, implementation phases, and related impact measurement indicators.

In this context, the official spokesperson of Al-Mawaddah Association, Ms. Hamsah Tamraz, stated that the One Million Families Plan 2026 represents a practical translation of the Association’s strategic direction. It is built on an integrated implementation framework operating across four main sectors, seventeen initiatives, and eighty-three operational projects, supported by a clear measurement system to ensure alignment of efforts and accelerate impact.

Tamraz explained that the plan targets serving 297,411 families through 594,822 diverse family services, with geographic coverage spanning eight regions and twenty-six governorates and centers. The plan focuses directly on family stability outcomes, aiming to increase the stability rate of beneficiary families to 70% after receiving services, reduce divorce cases by 10%, decrease family conflicts by 15%, raise family awareness to 77%, enhance values awareness among youth to 79%, achieve an 85% positive improvement in children’s skills, and economically empower families by 22%.

She added that the plan places special emphasis on value-based and media impact through the production of 360 awareness media products, the implementation of 14 media campaigns linked to international family-related observances, and the production of three awareness works including films and television series. These efforts aim to highlight the Saudi family experience and present it as a knowledge- and values-based model suitable for local, regional, and global presentation.

Regarding institutional performance and governance, Tamraz noted that the plan targets a 95% immediate response rate to beneficiary requests and complaints, a 92% rate in addressing improvement opportunities, 98% compliance with governance standards, and a 75% advancement in the technical maturity index. These goals aim to transform institutional quality into a tangible experience for beneficiaries while strengthening trust and sustainability.

Tamraz concluded by emphasizing that the One Million Families Plan 2026 embodies the value of integration between direct family services, value-based and media impact, institutional development, and financial discipline. The plan allocates 96% of expenditures to programs and projects, with 4% dedicated to general and administrative expenses, while targeting a 10% reduction in costs—enhancing execution capacity, deepening project impact on beneficiaries, and contributing to the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030 goals related to quality of life and the development of a stable and prosperous family.
