Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association won the “Innovation in E-Learning and Training Award,” which was presented to it by His Excellency the Minister of Education. The association was represented by its CEO, Mr. Mohammed Al-Radhi, in accepting the award. This recognition acknowledges Al-Mawaddah’s national efforts in providing lifelong learning opportunities for the community, contributing to the development of human capabilities and enhancing skills through e-learning and training.
This award was part of the “Innovation Award” presented by the National Center for E-Learning, which aims to celebrate national efforts, innovative practices, and technologies, and to encourage e-learning and training providers and practitioners to innovate and implement best practices that contribute to human capital development.
The winning initiative, the “Family Platform,” represents an advanced model of family-oriented e-learning. Launched in 2022 by His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, the platform specializes in training families through educational and training videos in areas such as marriage preparation, family and marital relationships, parenting, family planning, and conscious motherhood. The content is available in Arabic, English, and sign language. Since its launch, the platform has served over 85,000 beneficiaries in 32 countries worldwide, providing more than 70,000 online family counseling sessions, with a beneficiary satisfaction rate of 4.9 out of 5. In addition to training courses, the platform offers online family counseling services, psychological assessments, and awareness-raising dialogue sessions to discuss important family issues. The association also conducts high-quality in-person training programs in partnership with governmental, military, and private entities, as well as schools and universities, thus enhancing the integration of digital training with practical application.
The association's spokesperson, Ms. Hamsa Tamraz, noted that Al-Mawaddah's winning of this award confirms the success of its approach in providing online education and training solutions that translate family needs into measurable, practical training pathways, supporting improved quality of family life through skills development and awareness building. Tamraz explained that the platform operates according to clear objectives, including empowering families and enhancing their ability to face social and economic challenges through integrated training programs, improving the experience of beneficiaries and partners through digital facilitation and development, and strengthening family bonds and work-life balance through collaboration with government agencies, the private sector, and the non-profit sector.
Tamraz noted that this achievement reflects the platform's sustainability, scalability, and ability to meet future needs. She emphasized the association's continued commitment to developing content and training pathways in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, thus reinforcing the platform's role as an effective national tool for supporting lifelong learning for families.
