His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, received in his office today Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Radhi, CEO of Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association in the Makkah Region, accompanied by several members of the association.
During the meeting, the CEO reviewed the objectives of the Million Families 2026 Plan, explaining that it relies on an integrated implementation system operating across four main sectors, seventeen initiatives, and eighty-three operational projects, aiming to serve 297,411 families through 594,822 family services.
His Royal Highness the Governor of Jeddah was also briefed on the association's achievements during 2025, during which the association provided services to more than 214,000 families across its various programs, totaling over 360,000 family services. In Jeddah Governorate, the association served 174,509 families, representing 4.65% of the total number of families in Jeddah. It also contributed to a 13% reduction in family cases referred to courts across the Makkah region.
The CEO reviewed the numerous national and international awards and accolades the association received during the year, most notably the Innovation in E-Learning and Training Award for the Family Platform, the National Award for Volunteer Work, and the Financial Sustainability Award. These achievements reflect the association's leadership, the quality of its outputs, and its successful implementation of the Mawaddah 2030 strategy in the areas of family empowerment, digital transformation, sustainability, and maximizing community impact.
For his part, His Highness the Governor of Jeddah commended the Mawaddah Association's efforts in serving families and the community, praising its role in promoting family stability and empowerment. He wished the association and its members continued success in achieving its goals, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 for quality of life and sustainable social development.
