Al-Mawaddah Association for Family Development, in partnership with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Endowments, strengthened its efforts to support family stability through the Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Centers for Family Reconciliation and Arbitration. From January to December 2025, a total of 23,686 beneficiaries received services, with 27,798 services provided by a professional team comprising 79 counselors, mediators, and arbitrators.
The counseling services offered were diverse, covering family, psychological, social, marital, and educational consultations through multiple access channels, including helplines, in-person counseling, and online guidance, aiming to help couples and families strengthen relationships, resolve family issues, and receive specialized professional interventions that enhance family quality of life and reduce conflict escalation.
During 2025, the operational channels for counseling services included 11,286 phone consultations, 3,784 in-person consultations, and 1,616 online consultations, in addition to 485 legal consultations and 378 virtual consultations, reflecting the expansion of service accessibility and facilitation of family needs.
In the family reconciliation and arbitration track, 4,027 families benefited from center services, with 5,910 reconciliation sessions, of which 2,533 cases concluded with reconciliation (63%), demonstrating the effectiveness of professional interventions in providing practical solutions to contain conflicts and mitigate their impact on family members.
The services also included the social and psychological support track, benefiting 2,110 individuals with 1,142 religious consultations and 968 social and psychological consultations, following an integrated approach that considers the psychological and social aspects relevant to family stability and balance.
Al-Mawaddah Association’s official spokesperson, Ms. Hamsa Tamraz, stated that this partnership aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to empower and guide families through sustainable development initiatives. She highlighted that the association, in partnership with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Endowments, established the Family Guidance and Reconciliation Services Center to ensure professional interventions that enhance family quality of life and strengthen their ability to overcome challenges.
She added that the centers’ outcomes reflect the association’s commitment to supporting families to be thriving and connected through innovative developmental programs, empowering individuals, and improving quality of life, in line with the vision’s objectives and enhancing the family’s role in building a vibrant and prosperous society.
