Al-Mawaddah Association for Family Development announced the implementation of 106,553 surveys and research visits during 2025, as part of its efforts to support data-driven decision-making and enhance the quality of social studies related to family and society, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the national transformation in the social development sector.
Mr. Mohammed bin Omar Umair, Director of Business Development at Al-Mawaddah Association, explained that these research efforts reflect the association's growing role as an active national partner in supporting government and private entities by providing accurate data and scientific analyses that contribute to developing social policies and improving the efficiency of development programs and initiatives.
Umair stated that these figures reflect Al-Mawaddah Association's investment in social research as a strategic tool to support the national transformation. He added, "We work according to approved scientific methodologies and reach target groups directly in various regions of the Kingdom, which enhances the reliability of the results and their impact on planning and decision-making." He explained that the Al-Mawaddah Research Unit comprises 376 researchers and supervisors, and its work covers 135 governorates and centers across various regions of the Kingdom, targeting six main social groups. This reflects the broad scope of its impact and the depth of its geographical coverage.
He noted that the association possesses institutional expertise in implementing eight government projects and contractual projects with the private sector. These projects included designing and implementing surveys, collecting field data, analyzing data, and conducting specialized social studies, all in line with the objectives of improving the quality of life, empowering families, and promoting social sustainability, which are key pillars of Saudi Vision 2030.
Omair concluded his statement by emphasizing that the Al-Mawaddah Association is committed to continuously developing its research services and expanding its strategic partnerships to become a national model in applied social research and a major contributor to the social transformation and sustainable development process in the Kingdom.
