The Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association held its ninth board meeting of its fourth session to discuss several strategic topics related to performance, sustainability, and expanding the scope of its family services. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Board, His Excellency Engineer Faisal bin Saif Al-Din Al-Samnoudi, who emphasized the association's commitment to continuously developing its institutional framework and enhancing performance efficiency. This commitment aims to ensure the sustainability of its impact and broaden the reach of its services, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the goal of improving the quality of life for families.

The board discussed the recommendations from the previous meeting, reviewed the approved executive summary of performance for 2025, and the performance summary for January and February 2026. It also reviewed the performance of government tenders and projects, as well as social investments for 2025, and the investment performance and directions for 2026. This review aimed to enhance the efficiency of resource allocation and maximize the social return on initiatives and programs.

The meeting also addressed the performance of the "Your Donation is Mercy" campaign. The board approved the association's new awareness exhibitions, which will contribute to enhancing Al-Mawaddah's presence and unifying its outreach messages to partners and stakeholders. The board also adopted the agenda for the 22nd General Assembly meeting, within the framework of governance and fulfilling the requirements for institutional organization.

Within the areas of development and impact, the board reviewed the concept of the 7th Family Associations Forum in the Kingdom, which aims to support knowledge exchange, promote national integration in family issues, and highlight the Saudi experience in family development.

The Chairman of the Board also handed over 32 housing units to beneficiaries as part of the "Safe Roof" project, in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, represented by the Developmental Housing Program. This project aims to provide dignified housing for the most vulnerable families and enhance their family and social stability. Al-Samnoudi emphasized that the project is an extension of the association's mission to empower families and achieve their psychological and social stability. He pointed out that the initiative is not limited to delivering housing units, but also includes a package of accompanying services encompassing rehabilitation and training in financial planning skills, psychological and social counseling, in addition to economic empowerment programs through support for micro-enterprises or employment, thus ensuring the sustainability of stability and improving the quality of life for beneficiary families.

What was reviewed and approved at the meeting confirms Al-Mawaddah Association's commitment to continuing to develop innovative development solutions that enhance family stability and deepen its national impact, in line with the association's vision and mission and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
