Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association won the Ihsan Award for Leading Social Organizations in its third cycle, in recognition of its outstanding efforts in achieving sustainable developmental impact and enhancing the quality of services provided to beneficiary families. This honor was bestowed during the fourth annual awards ceremony of the National Platform for Charitable Work (Ihsan), held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister, and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, along with a number of ministers, officials, and philanthropists, in appreciation of their contributions to supporting charitable projects across the Kingdom. On this occasion, Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Radhi, CEO of Al-Mawaddah Association, expressed his pride in the association receiving this award, emphasizing that this achievement reflects the institutional excellence that the association adopts in implementing its social programs and initiatives. Al-Radhi explained that the Ihsan Award aims to maximize the developmental impact of charitable contributions and achieve sustainable results for the community. It also seeks to enhance the efficiency of implementing supported opportunities through the Ihsan platform, encourage innovation in programs and services offered to beneficiaries, promote transparency and reliability in managing donations and development projects, and motivate non-profit organizations to improve their institutional performance and governance.
He indicated that this achievement is the result of integrated efforts between the association, its partners, and supporters, in addition to the pivotal role played by the Ihsan platform in empowering charitable organizations and strengthening their developmental and humanitarian impact on society. The opportunities and projects supported through the Ihsan platform have also contributed to enhancing the association's developmental impact, with 58 opportunities and projects supported, benefiting 42,658 families. This reflects the significant social impact achieved by the association's programs in supporting and empowering families and enhancing their stability. He also noted that this recognition adds to the association's record of achievements, as Al-Mawaddah Association has garnered 17 awards in the fields of institutional excellence and social work, reflecting its pioneering role in developing family and developmental initiatives in the Kingdom. Al-Radhi concluded his statement by affirming that Al-Mawaddah Association continues to develop its programs and initiatives to contribute to supporting family stability and empowerment, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to strengthen the non-profit sector and maximize its impact on sustainable development.
