Chaired by His Excellency the Chairman of the Board, Engineer Faisal bin Saif Al-Samnoudi, the General Assembly of Al-Mawaddah Association held its 22nd meeting for the year 2026, with (24) members of the General Assembly in attendance, both in person and virtually.

The meeting began with a welcoming address delivered by the Chairman of the Board, Engineer Faisal bin Saif Al-Samnoudi, via video conference. He welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of the General Assembly meeting in supporting the association's progress and enhancing its community impact.

The Second Vice Chairman of the Board, Engineer Fayez bin Abdullah Al-Harbi, explained that the meeting included a review and approval of the association's performance for the year 2025.

The number of beneficiaries exceeded (215) thousand, achieving (94%) of its strategic objectives. The association also recorded a (67%) success rate in family reconciliation, contributing to an (11%) reduction in divorce cases, an achievement that reflects the positive impact of its programs on family stability. Al-Harbi added that Al-Mawaddah achieved high performance efficiency, reaching a balanced scorecard of 98%, while beneficiary satisfaction reached 94%, reflecting the quality of services provided and the effectiveness of programs.

The meeting also included a discussion of the legal auditor's report for 2025, in addition to discussing and approving the operational plan and estimated budget for 2026, which supports the sustainability of institutional work and the achievement of future goals.

Within the framework of governance, Al-Harbi explained that the internal audit committee's report was reviewed, in addition to reviewing the work of the investment committee, which enhances the efficiency of resource management and investment development to serve the association's objectives.

Al-Harbi concluded by emphasizing that family stability is the cornerstone of building a strong and cohesive society, and that Al-Mawaddah's achievements align with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which places the family at the heart of development and seeks to enhance the quality of life and build a prosperous and sustainable nation.
