As part of ongoing efforts to empower the non-profit sector and enhance its institutional efficiency, Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association led a project to develop the strategic direction of the Family Association in Al-Zulfi Governorate. This initiative aims to bring about a qualitative shift in institutional performance and achieve sustainable development.

This project comes within the context of the growing interest in developing the capabilities of non-profit organizations. It focused on building a comprehensive strategic plan based on an analysis of the internal and external environment and the identification of developmental priorities aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The work also included designing a detailed operational plan that translates strategic objectives into clear, actionable initiatives, with defined timelines and specific responsibilities.

In terms of governance and performance management, the project developed an advanced monitoring system by creating an interactive performance indicators dashboard. This dashboard allows for continuous tracking of progress and provides decision-makers with accurate data that contributes to improving performance quality and increasing the efficiency of resource utilization.

The project's implementation phases witnessed broad participation from executive leaders and stakeholders, which contributed to fostering consensus on future directions and establishing a culture of collaborative work. This is considered one of the most important factors for the success of strategic plans in the non-profit sector. This project is expected to positively impact the quality of services and programs provided by the "My Family" Association, by improving the efficiency of planning and implementation, and maximizing the social impact of initiatives, thus contributing to serving families and the local community in Al-Zulfi Governorate, and supporting the comprehensive development process in the Kingdom.
