Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association signed a memorandum of understanding with Harakiya Association in Riyadh during a visit by a Harakiya delegation to the association's headquarters. The agreement aims to leverage the SIF initiative and empower non-profit organizations to enhance their social, institutional, and financial performance in accordance with best practices and professional standards.
The memorandum reflects both parties' commitment to strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise, thereby contributing to increased institutional efficiency and sustainability for non-profit organizations, which will positively impact the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
During the visit, the Harakiya delegation learned about Al-Mawaddah's experience in managing government projects and tenders, and explored the key practices and mechanisms the association employs in implementing its development programs and initiatives. They also discussed opportunities for joint collaboration in the areas of institutional development and capacity building.
Both sides affirmed that this partnership represents an important step towards enhancing integration among non-profit sector organizations, and exchanging knowledge and successful experiences, which contributes to achieving a sustainable developmental impact and raising the efficiency of institutional, financial and social performance of non-profit entities, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in supporting and empowering the non-profit sector and enhancing its contribution to national development.
