Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association delivered 50 housing units to beneficiary families during June 2026 as part of its "Makrama" program. This initiative is part of the association's ongoing efforts to promote family stability and economic empowerment by providing integrated housing solutions that contribute to improving quality of life and achieving sustainable living standards.
The association explained that these housing units are part of the "Sakan" initiative under the "Makrama" program, which aims to provide safe and stable housing for the most vulnerable families. This contributes to strengthening family stability and improving quality of life through sustainable housing solutions supported by guidance, rehabilitation, and economic empowerment programs.
The association indicated that the total number of housing units delivered since the beginning of 2026 has risen to 82 out of a target of 100 units within the initiative's plan. This reflects the association's continued commitment to implementing its development programs aimed at providing sustainable housing solutions for beneficiary families. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association, Engineer Faisal bin Saif Al-Din Al-Samnoudi, affirmed that providing suitable housing is one of the most important pillars of family stability. He pointed out that the association views housing as a starting point for empowering families economically and socially, enhancing their ability to face challenges and achieve self-reliance.
Al-Samnoudi added that the “Makrama” program represents an integrated system for the economic empowerment of families. It is not limited to providing housing support, but includes a package of development programs and initiatives aimed at moving families from a state of need to more stable and sustainable paths. This is achieved through qualification and training, skills development, support for job opportunities, and improved financial resource management, thus enhancing the family's quality of life.
He noted that the association continues to implement its programs in partnership with supporting entities, based on its mission to provide integrated development solutions that consider the various needs of families and combine housing stability with economic and social empowerment, contributing to building families more capable of achieving self-sufficiency and stability. Al-Samnoudi concluded his statement by emphasizing that Al-Mawaddah Association continues to develop its quality initiatives and expand the impact of its development programs, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in enhancing the quality of life, empowering families, and building a more stable and developed society.
