With generous support from the Namaa Al Rajhi Humanitarian Foundation, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, represented by the General Directorate of Social Responsibility and Volunteer Work, and with the honor of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the presence of Assistant Minister of Labor, Mr. Sultan Al Barakati, and Assistant Minister of Development, Mr. Ahmed Al Safhi, the Al Mawaddah Family Development Association celebrated the winners of the Values Pioneers Camp program on Wednesday, July 15th. The event, attended by a number of educational and community leaders, marked the culmination of a developmental journey aimed at cultivating the values of initiative and social responsibility among school students and transforming creative ideas into projects with a sustainable impact.
This initiative is part of the integrated efforts of various sectors to empower students, enhance their community participation, and instill positive values in them.
The event was held in the presence of several educational and community leaders. The program saw the participation of 105 male and female students representing 15 schools. They received numerous training workshops led by trainers and experts and contributed 25 hours of volunteer work, resulting in 20 projects ranging from community initiatives to podcasts. A panel of specialized judges evaluated the projects.
The ceremony concluded with the awarding of prizes to the winning teams in the program's two tracks: community initiatives and podcasts. Five winning teams were recognized in each track for their high-quality projects, characterized by creativity, innovative ideas, feasibility, and positive social impact.
The ceremony also included honoring outstanding student leaders in the values program, recognizing their commitment, excellence, and positive contributions throughout the program. Participating schools, partners, judges, trainers, and all those who contributed to the program's success and the achievement of its objectives were also recognized. The Director of Family Programs, Mr. Mohammed Al-Nashri, affirmed that the program embodies a successful model for investing in youth potential by empowering them to translate values into practical actions and impactful initiatives that serve the community. He noted that the quality of ideas, awareness of societal issues, and innovative solutions demonstrated by the participating projects reflect the significant impact the program is having in building a conscious, responsible, and proactive generation.
Mr. Al-Nashri added that the program's success is a result of the integrated efforts of supporting entities and partners, expressing his appreciation for their support, which contributed to achieving the program's objectives and enhancing its impact on society.
Mr. Al-Nashri concluded his statement by emphasizing that Al-Mawaddah Association will continue to develop its high-quality programs targeting youth and various segments of the family and community, and to invest in initiatives that contribute to instilling values, developing skills, and promoting social responsibility, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to build a vibrant society, empower youth, and enhance quality of life.
