• In the presence of HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Secretary-General of Talal Endowments; HRH Princess Nouf bint Khalid bin Talal, Secretary-General of the Talal Charitable Foundation; and HH Princess Sura bint Saud, the Al-Mawaddah Society for Family Development—in partnership with the Talal bin Abdulaziz Charitable Foundation—launched the second season of the animated series "Mawaddah Family" in Riyadh. The event was attended by over 250 guests, partners, and interested individuals, alongside a group of students.
• This second season continues the series' educational mission to foster positive family values among children aged 6 to 12. It delivers content that blends entertainment with learning, helping to raise children's awareness and instill positive behaviors through real-life scenarios that mirror their daily experiences.
• The new season comprises 15 episodes, each highlighting a specific family value—totaling 15 values in all. These were selected and developed using a scientific methodology, with input from consultants and specialists in child development, education, and values, ensuring the content aligns with children's developmental stages and addresses their educational and behavioral needs.
• "Mawaddah Family" is broadcast on Spacetoon, MBC3, and the Shahid platform, thereby expanding the reach of this purposeful family-oriented content to a wider audience of children and families across the Kingdom and the Arab world. • Mr. Fayez bin Abdullah Al-Harbi, Vice Chairman of the Board, emphasized that the "Mawaddah Family" initiative is part of a comprehensive framework adopted by the Association to foster family values among children across various age groups. He explained that the Association aims to transform values from theoretical concepts into practical experiences and habits integrated into children's daily lives.
• The Association’s framework for promoting family values includes the "Value Pioneers" program. This program engaged 105 male and female students from 15 schools who participated in specialized training workshops led by expert trainers. Participants completed 25 hours of volunteer work, resulting in the development of 20 awareness-raising projects—ranging from community initiatives to podcast production—which were subsequently evaluated by a panel of specialized judges.
• The Association also organizes a short film award focused on values; its second season saw participation from seven Saudi universities and over 1,391 students, with 76 films submitted.
• Al-Harbi concluded his statement by expressing gratitude and appreciation to Their Highnesses for their attendance and support of these distinctive initiatives aimed at strengthening family values. He also acknowledged the support of the Talal bin Abdulaziz Charitable Foundation as the grant partner, affirming that such support contributes to developing initiatives and projects designed to build awareness among children, instill positive values, and enhance family stability.
