It is a survey study conducted in the Jeddah province. The study focused on 36% of the esteemed judges of the Sharia courts in Jeddah and their views on the role of reform. It also included 35% of practitioners working in the reform departments of Al-Mawaddah Society and its branches in the province, as well as the male and female counseling hotline department. Additionally, 30% of the visitors to the society's reform and counseling departments, who sought guidance during the study period, were included.
The objectives of this study were as follows:
- Clarify the importance of family reform and counseling for the stability and happiness of families.
- Highlight the role of Al-Mawaddah Charitable Society in social reform within the community, specifically in the field of family reform and counseling.
- Identify the current reality of family reform and counseling in Jeddah, including the location, facilities, staff, and achievements.
- Develop a model for practical implementation of family reform and counseling in light of the society's established goals and utilize it to promote community stability.
- Enhance the skills and qualifications of the practitioners through available resources, distinctive programs, and plans to improve the performance of practitioners and the level of benefit for those seeking guidance in family reform and counseling.
