This is a presentation of the proposed strategic plan for an initiative to strengthen marriage bonds in the Mecca region. The project of this initiative began with the aim of studying the causes of divorce to find strategic solutions through an in-depth study of the phenomenon in the Mecca region, using the following methodology:

• Building a database of divorce records and their causes, along with the economic and social composition in the Mecca region.
• Conducting qualitative research on the leading causes of divorce.
• Conducting secondary research to shed light on previous local and international studies on the same issue.
• Adopting and reinforcing the secondary research findings by social experts.
• Studying the best global practices related to previous or current initiatives addressing the same issue.
• Conducting quantitative research to determine the scale of the problem and its causes.
