This is a study aimed at identifying the accurate rates of marriage and divorce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both overall and according to the administrative regions, for the period from 2015 to 2019. The study utilizes two indicators for marriage: the crude marriage rate and the general marriage rate, and two indicators for divorce: the crude divorce rate and the general divorce rate. Additionally, this study aims to compare these indicators across the administrative regions of the Kingdom. It also seeks to highlight the advantages and disadvantages of these indicators related to marriage and divorce. Furthermore, the study calculates the divorce-to-marriage ratio in terms of the total number of marriage and divorce cases in the Kingdom as a whole and according to the administrative regions during the same period.
