A study on the impact of pre-marital preparation for grooms and brides.

It is a study on the impact of pre-marital preparation for grooms and brides in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, covering the period from 2013 to 2018. The study is part of the "Preparation" project, aiming to assess the social return on investment of the pre-marital preparation program and its positive influence on trainees. This study was conducted based on a memorandum of understanding and guidance from the Social Development Agency at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in collaboration with Al-Mawaddah Family Development Association in the Makkah region. The study was prepared under the sponsorship of the Development Agency through a strategic partnership, where the agency provided input and consultation in developing the plan and offered scientific and regulatory support in conducting the study. The objectives of this study were as follows:

  • Determine the impact of preventive measures in the pre-marital preparation program for grooms and brides on preventing marital problems after marriage.
  • Highlight the importance of family preparation for family stability and achieving happiness.
  • Identify the role of family development associations in preparing grooms and brides for marriage and their contribution to society.
  • Evaluate the pre-marital preparation program for grooms and brides.
