The Need to Develop a Career Ladder for the Family Counseling Hotline Department

This is an exploratory study conducted by the Mawaddah Society titled "The Reality of Family Reform and Counseling at the Mawaddah Charity for Social Reform in Jeddah and Ways for Development." This study aims to assess the need for a career ladder for counselors in the Family Counseling Hotline Department, considering the differing needs and priorities of employees in various sectors. One study showed that promotion ranks second after salary in importance. The primary goal of this study is to prepare an administrative and financial system guide for family counselors in the Family Counseling Hotline Department, with the following specific objectives:

  • Establishing standards for work practices in the Family Counseling Hotline Department.
  • Contributing to the professional development of the staff in the Family Counseling Hotline Department.
  • Contributing to the self-development of the staff in the Family Counseling Hotline Department.
  • Providing moral and material incentives to the staff in the Family Counseling Hotline Department.
  • Fostering a spirit of competition among the staff in the Family Counseling Hotline Department.
  • Achieving professionalism and excellence in performance.
  • Improving the professional practice of the staff in the Family Counseling Hotline Department
