This study focuses on measuring the social impact and social return on investment (SROI) of the services provided by Al-Mawaddah Society for Family Development in the Makkah region for the year 2018. The study encompasses five programs, which include family training and development, family counseling and reconciliation, supervised visitation and implementation of court orders, the Life Academy for Women’s Empowerment, and family research and studies. A neutral external team consisting of Saudi researchers conducted the field study, while the role of the society was purely supervisory without any intervention or influence on the data. The study employed the following methodology: Social survey methodology, which is a method for collecting data from a large number of participants through direct face-to-face contact, phone calls, or mail, using structured questionnaires.
